What is FotoViewr?
FotoViewr lets your create stunning photo galleries to display your online photos. It takes seconds to create a photo gallery. All you need is your username for your online photo site. It’s easy to use, and we don’t ask you to sign up.

What photo sites does FotoViewr support?
FotoViewr currently supports Flickr and SmugMug. There’s also a Facebook application so you can enjoy the same immersive 3D experience for your Facebook photos.

Is FotoViewr free to use?
Yes. FotoViewr is absolutely free.

How do I create a FotoViewr photo gallery?

1. On the homepage, click on the green ‘Get Started Now’ button.
2. Select the type of photo gallery visualization you want by clicking on the thumbnail.
3. Enter your Flickr or SmugMug username.
4. Select which photo album or tag you want your photos to come from.
5. Click on the link to your photo gallery.
6. Enjoy.

What is Flickr?
Flickr is photo sharing site with a huge online community. It’s one of the most popular and easy to use photo sharing websites. It’s also free to use, but you’ll have to sign up for an account.

What is SmugMug?
SmugMug is an independently owned photo sharing site. Although SmugMug is not free, SmugMug allows unlimited uploads for all their account types. SmugMug has some great features for the professional photographer community such as watermarks for their photos.

Do I need to register or sign up for an account on FotoViewr?
There is no registration or sign up. You just need to have a Flickr or SmugMug account. If you don’t already have one, you can sign up for one over at www.flickr.com or SmugMug.

Do I need to upload my photos to FotoViewr?
No, you don’t need to upload your photos to FotoViewr. We figure that you probably don’t want to upload all your photos to yet another photo sharing site. FotoViewr pulls your public photos from your Flickr or SmugMug account. That way, you can keep all your photos in one place.

Can I make my photo gallery private?
We believe that our photo galleries make it so cool and fun to view your photos that you’ll want to show it off to all your friends.

FotoViewr can’t find my username or my public tags and sets.
Your Flickr privacy settings may be preventing FotoViewr from accessing your profile and photos. Please make sure that your photos are public. Also Check your Flickr privacy settings page: http://flickr.com/account/prefs/optout/?from=privacy to see if you’ve checked the checkbox labeled: Hide your photostream from searches on 3rd party sites that use the API and Hide me from searches.

What happens to my photo gallery when I add or remove photos from my Flickr or SmugMug album?
Your photo gallery will change to reflect the photos in your album.

Can I embed FotoViewr in my blog or website?
Yes you can. Once you’ve successfully created a FotoViewr photo gallery, scroll down to the 2 textboxes at the bottom of the screen. Select and copy the contents of the second textbox into your blog or webpage to embed the photo gallery.

I have many more photos in my Flickr or SmugMug set/tag? How come I can only see 30 photos?
FotoViewr aims to provide a reasonably good experience for most people. For those with average computers, having more than a certain number of photos displayed in their web browser can drastically affect their FotoViewr experience.

Why are my Flickr photos so blurry or pixelated when I go into Full Screen mode?
To strike a balance between interactive performance and picture quality, FotoViewr uses the medium sized versions of your Flickr photos. Also, users in Flickr are not required to share their high quality photos to the public, and hence FotoViewr may not be able to pick them up.
